3 Denver streets could be carless permanently

A few streets downtown in Denver that have been closed to traffic since the pandemic in 2020 are set to lose the permit that allowed those closings later this year.  Those closings could possibly be made permanent though as the city and Denver’s Mayor Mike Johnston hope to recover some of downtown’s foot traffic thats been lost over the last few years.

The streets that are currently being looked at are Larimer Square, Larimer Street between 29th and 30th street in RiNO, and Glenarm Place between 15th & 16th.
