20,000 people expected to gather for a political rally in Denver on March 21st

Mar 20, 2025, 4:31 PM | Updated: 7:45 pm

Any time thousands of people gather in downtown Denver for whatever reason, it’s good to know because traffic, parking, and even just walking around usually get a lot more tricky.

Tomorrow (Mar. 20) organizers are expecting an extremely large crowd to gather at Denver’s Civic Center Park for a political rally featuring Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Organizers expect 20,000 people to show up for the event that begins at 5 p.m. with doors opening for it at 4 p.m. They say it should be over by 6:30 p.m.

If you do plan to attend, ride shares and carpools are recommended. Organizers also ask attendees not to bring bags, signs and firearms.
