100k to Eat Wendy’s Might Be The Best Side Hustle EVER

Wendy’s just posted what might be the most “internet job” of all time: they’re hiring a Chief Tasting Officer, and the salary is $100,000. Yep six figures to eat Wendy’s, talk about it, and basically live the dream for anyone who’s ever reviewed a fast-food run in the car before pulling out of the parking lot.
The gig is mostly remote, with some occasional restaurant visits, and the main job is tasting menu items and making video reviews. Wendy’s even confirmed it’s a real position—just not listed through the usual corporate hiring channels, because of course it’s on its own special website. No pro experience required, but you do have to submit creative videos, be comfortable on camera, and describe food in a way that makes people actually want to watch.
And the “requirements” are hilariously simple: a human mouth, a pulse, and opinions—so basically everybody on social media. This all comes right after McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski went viral for looking like he was fighting for his life trying to eat their new Big Arch Burger on Instagram, and Wendy’s President Pete Suerken clapped back with a Baconator video and the caption: “This is what it looks like when you don’t have to pretend to like your ‘product.’” Fast-food beef, but make it corporate.
