People Are Obsessed With These Two Birds Who Just Made Colorful Babies

*TV announcer voice*: “Welcome everyone, to this season of the ‘Bachelor: Birdie edition.’ Let’s start off by meeting our bachelor. Kiwi is a lovebird — no literally, he is a lovebird — owned by Maura Hennelly. He likes seeds and the outdoors.”

It seems that Kiwi was ready to settle down and find #ForeverLove. So Hennelly went out and found a potential mate for him. But unfortunately, things did not work out, and the peach-faced female did not get the final rose. Err, seed?

So, Hennelly brought home a new potential mate for Kiwi: Siouxsie. She was drastically different in appearance and even personality from Kiwi. Take a look at this adorable pair:

“They are polar opposites,” Hennelly told BuzzFeed. “Kiwi is a super friendly fun-loving boy, and Siouxsie is very shy and all business. She didn’t like Kiwi at all at first and would bite if he got near her.”

But I guess it’s true what they say about how opposites attract. Because before long, FANTASY SUITE! “They spent the night together in Kiwi’s coconut!” Hennelly wrote on Twitter. “U [sic] know what that means.”

And so, because we all know how the birds and the bees work, Siouxsie laid eggs that eventually hatched into four very colorful chicks. Two of them have their father’s coloring, and two are a gorgeous blue that they clearly inherited from both mom and dad:

My little ones are just too cute 😭❤

With a happily ever after like this, it’s no wonder people have become very invested in the love story between Kiwi and Siouxsie since Hennelly started tweeting about it. Like, more invested in it than their own relationships.

People even started creating art of the couple as if they were two star-crossed human lovers:

Another Twitter user compared the birds to Mavis and Johnny from “Hotel Transylvania”:

Hennelly said she is adopting out the four babies once they are weaned, but I’m sure we have not heard the last of Kiwi and Siouxsie. Because unlike most of the couples in the human “Bachelor,” it looks like these two are in it for the long haul:
