Last week, the escalation of Denver’s fuel prices commenced, with an expert predicting that the actual surge would occur in a couple of weeks, as reported by the Denver Gazette.
Based on a survey of 844 Denver stations conducted by GasBuddy.com, the average cost of one gallon of gasoline in Denver stood at $2.64 on Monday, reflecting a 17.6-cent increase compared to the previous week.
Colorado’s average gas price also rose week over week by 14.4 cents per gallon now at $2.72 per gallon.
However, the monitoring site for gas prices mentioned that the current prices only demonstrate a marginal rise of 4.2 cents over the course of a month.
The national average also experienced an uptick, with a 4.5-cent increase per gallon observed last week, resulting in an average price of $3.07 per gallon on Monday.
