SUMMARY:Douglas County Fair & Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:Since its proud beginnings in 1918\, the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo has been a celebration of community\, western heritage and the pioneer spirit. You can see those traditions come alive when you walk through the Marketplace and see the homemade breads\, cookies\, afghans and amazing quilts\, or when you see the Junior Exhibitors proudly show-off the animals they have raised.  The excitement of our western heritage and the cowboy way of life can be felt when you attend the Xtreme Bulls or one of our PRCA rodeos. \nThe Douglas County Fair & Rodeo blends a sense of old and new\, past and present\, and an over all feeling of community by offering something for everyone with everything from a Carnival to Discovery Ranch (our interactive family area) to music to Bunny Agility to Pie Eating to Cricket Races to so much more! \nThis year we are very excited to have Gary Allan join us on Saturday\, August 3 in concert. Come check it all out August 1 – 4\, 2019 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. \nFor more information go to: fairandrodeofun.com
